Report: Extremist Republican Legal Group to Bring Hillary Clinton vs Flowers Suit
Report:
"Judicial Watch," an extremist Republican group that bills itself as, "the public interest group that fights government corruption," is at it again. On November 16, 2005, the Republican attack dog lawyer group announced its intention to yet again, attempt to besmirch Clinton's name via Gennifer Flowers. Lest anyone become confused, it isn't Bill Clinton vs Flowers; believe it or not its Hillary Clinton.
Dick Cheney alone, has told more than 51 lies about Saddam Hussein and Iraq. Not least among those lies was this one:
"We did have reporting that was public, that came out shortly after the 9/11 attack, provided by the Czech government, suggesting there had been a meeting in Prague between Mohammed Atta, the lead hijacker, and a man named al-Ani (Ahmed Khalil Ibrahim Samir al-Ani), who was an Iraqi intelligence official in Prague, at the embassy there, in April of '01, prior to the 9/11 attacks. It has never been -- we've never been able to collect any more information on that. That was the one that possibly tied the two together to 9/11."
Never mind the Czech government doubted the report, and the CIA and FBI had records showing Atta to be in Virginia at the time the meeting was supposed to have taken place. Dick Cheney, Vice President of the United States, continued to repeat the Atta-Saddam claim late as January 9, 2004. If this fanatical right-wing assemblage of so-called attorneys, which bills itself as existing to fight "government corruption;" if they weren't simply another extremist Republican group intent on filing frivolous and false charges against Democrats at every turn, wouldn't the Vice President of the United States lying the nation into a war - wouldn't that be something a real pack of lawyers on a mission to "fight government corruption" would be interested in?
The answer of course, is yes! But "Judicial Watch" isn't really about fighting "government corruption." It is an extremist group of well financed Republican legal assassins. Their real mission - there only mission - is to keep absurd lawsuits against Democrats, especially the Clintons, continuously circulating through the courts. Since this savage gaggle of legal charlatans have kicked the Bill Clinton-Gennifer Flowers horse to death, they will now, unbelievable and incredulous as it is, spend their time making the Republican Party generated lurid affair about Hillary and Flowers.
"Judicial Watches" first attempt at this transparent farce was rejected by lower courts. Not to be deterred however, the far-right-wing radicalized horde of attorneys will turn to the Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Summary:
Most Republican extremist groups hide their true purpose and intentions behind their title and description. "Judicial Watch" is no different. They don't monitor judicial issues, but create them. They aren't about fighting "government corruption," but actually further the Republican Party's abuse of power by attacking their political foes through frivolous lawsuits.
Realizing they've taken the Bill Clinton and Flower's affair far as possible, knowing that 'old dog won't hunt anymore', they've now decided to make it about Hillary and Flowers. Why? Because the Republican Party needs to bog down Hillary's possible 2008 Presidential bid with inane lawsuits.
