Analysis: Bush Doesn't Torture, but He'd Like the Option Just In Case

George W. Bush and his faithful sidekick – or puppet master – Dick Cheney are busy pretending they don’t torture people. They just want to have the option should the need to torture arise.

Analysis:

Bush and Cheney have been torturing people since 911. For them and their faithful Republican followers – Pat Robertson and his ilk especially – it is okay that Bush tortures, because the TERRORISTS do it too. Hey, not only do terrorists torture, but the more ‘eviler’ than we, also hack off heads.

When Republican anti-logic is broken down into it’s component parts, they believe we have every right to behave just like terrorists. Apparently, they aren’t capable of realizing that behaving ‘like’ terrorists, makes the United States nothing but terrorists.

Summary:

The Bush regime’s insistence that they need the option to torture “just in case," is like an alcoholic carrying around a bottle of Captain Morgan’s Rum. He might not be drinking it at the moment, but sooner or later, if the alcoholic has it handy, he is going to pop the cork and drink. In the Bush administration’s case, our torture-oholics have all ready been hitting the torture bottle way too often. Abu-Ghraib, gulp-gulp-gulp; Guantanamo Bay, chug-chug-chug; Afghanistan, glick-glick-glick and of course, Eastern Europe... .

Make no mistake about it, Republicans are torturing people faster than a teenaged binge drinker can down a beer bong. Bush and Cheney have been torturing people, and will continue to torture people whether Congress says they can or not. Who knows, maybe the Republican Congress will say torture must stop, but in the end, it won’t matter. It isn’t like Frist or Hastert would ever investigate the administration even if Cheney raped, beat, burned, electrocuted, and executed a person on national television.
